Job Description

• Vulnerability Management & Technical Operations
• Administer, configure, and maintain vulnerability management tools such as Tenable, Qualys, or Nessus.
• Perform regular vulnerability scans, analyze results, and coordinate remediation with application, infrastructure, and platform teams.
• Ensure scan schedules, baselines, and reporting align with enterprise security policies.
• Develop automation scripts and reporting dashboards to improve visibility and efficiency in vulnerability tracking and closure.
• Governance & Process Management
• Drive security remediation workflows and ensure tracking through established governance channels.
• Partner with governance and compliance teams to ensure vulnerability management practices align with organizational and regulatory standards.
• Oversee change management processes, including raising and tracking change requests, incidents, and tasks via ServiceNow.
• Participate in and support CAB (Change Advisory Board) meetings, ensuring alignment with lifecycle management and security approvals.
• Manage and maintain documentation for processes, procedures, and remediation tracking.
• Cloud Security & Governance
• Support vulnerability and configuration management activities for AWS environments, ensuring alignment with cloud governance and intake processes.
• Collaborate with cloud engineering teams to remediate findings and enhance platform security posture.
• Project Coordination & Communication
• Coordinate multi-team projects across security, platform, infrastructure, and application domains.
• Facilitate meetings, prepare minutes, capture action items, and follow up to ensure timely completion.
• Utilize JIRA for tracking project tasks, progress, and reporting status to leadership.
• Act as a liaison between technical and non-technical stakeholders to communicate risk, remediation status, and governance updates.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Linux system administration and/or security operations.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with vulnerability management tools (Tenable, Qualys, Nessus, etc.).
• Strong understanding of vulnerability lifecycle management, remediation workflows, and security governance frameworks.
• Experience with AWS cloud governance, intake, and approval processes.
• Proficiency in ServiceNow (Change, Incident, and Task management).
• Working knowledge of CAB processes and change lifecycle management.
• Proven ability to coordinate across multiple teams and drive initiatives to completion.
• Strong organizational skills with experience facilitating meetings, preparing minutes, and ensuring accountability.
• Familiarity with JIRA for project and task tracking.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and leadership skills.
