Job Description: Process Analyst AR Caller (US Healthcare Billing, EPIC)
Position Summary
Process Analyst AR Caller is responsible for handling the accounts receivable process for US healthcare clients, including patient and insurance follow-up, claims resolution, denial management, and documentation using EPIC software.
Key Responsibilities
# Contact insurance companies and patients via phone and EPIC system to resolve outstanding AR balances.
# Review and manage denied or unpaid claims; initiate appeals and provide supporting documentation.
# Analyze explanation of benefits (EOBs), remittance advices, and other payment correspondence.
# Update claim status, payment received, and action taken within EPIC software.
# Collaborate with team leads to identify process improvements and reduce AR days.
# Follow US healthcare billing regulations and HIPAA compliance.
# Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on claim status and collections metrics.
# Communicate effectively with providers, payers, and patients to resolve billing issues.
# Meet productivity and quality benchmarks as set by management.
# Document all actions and communications accurately in EPIC system.
Required Qualifications
6 months to 3 years experience in US healthcare AR calling, revenue cycle, or medical billing.
Hands-on experience with EPIC.
Familiarity with US insurance types (Medicare, Medicaid, Commercial), CPT/HCPCS codes, and HIPAA standards.
Strong communication and analytical skills.Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Experience with denial management and AR follow-up processes.
