Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, test, and maintain web applications using PHP and CodeIgniter framework.
  • Write clean, well-structured, and efficient code following best practices.
  • Integrate user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic.
  • Collaborate with designers, developers, and project managers to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Troubleshoot, test, and maintain the core product software to ensure strong functionality and optimization.
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Stay updated with emerging web technologies and industry trends.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Strong proficiency in PHP with proven experience in the CodeIgniter framework.
  • Good understanding of front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
  • Experience with databases like MySQL (knowledge of MongoDB/PostgreSQL is a plus).
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and third-party integrations.
  • Knowledge of version control systems (Git preferred).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with other PHP frameworks (Laravel, Symfony, etc.) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of AJAX, JSON, and XML.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms and deployment processes.
