Position Overview & Priorities

We are looking for a skilled Full Stack Developer to join our engineering team and help build CometChat's core platform. As a Full Stack Developer, you will work on both frontend and backend systems using , , and related technologies. You will play a key role in developing scalable, high-performance, and secure applications that power real time communication across our products.

Primary responsibilities

• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using and
• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and RESTful APIs.
• Work with MySQL and MongoDB to design schemas and optimize queries.
• Use Redis for caching and performance improvement.
• Build and maintain reusable frontend components using
• Optimize both frontend and backend for speed and scalability.
• Collaborate closely with design, product, and DevOps teams.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices.
• Stay updated on new tools, frameworks, and performance techniques.
• Mentor junior developers and support team growth.

Prioritized Experiences and Capabilities

• Strong experience in full stack development using and
• Deep understanding of JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
• Practical experience with MySQL and MongoDB.
• Knowledge of Redis for caching and data optimization.
• Experience with RESTful API development and integration.
  Familiarity with state management tools such as Redux or Context API.
• Experience with Webpack, Create React App, and Git.
• Understanding of responsive and adaptive design.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
