Sr Automation Engineer – Desktop, UI & API Automation

Location: Remote (India)

Duration: 5 Months (Possible Extension)

Experience: 5+ Years (Must have Playwright experience)

Job Description:

We are seeking a Senior Automation Engineer with strong hands-on experience in desktop automation. Candidates must have demonstrated real-world implementation in live projects, not just listed skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Automate desktop-based applications using WinAppDriver, Winium, WinForms, and WPF.
  • Perform UI Automation using Selenium, Playwright, and Katalon.
  • Execute API Automation using RestAssured, RestSharp, and Postman.
  • Implement BDD frameworks such as Cucumber, TestNG, and JUnit.
  • Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Jenkins, and Bamboo.
  • Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks within Agile environments.

Mandatory Skills:

  • Playwright (mandatory) along with Selenium, API Automation, and BDD Cucumber.
  • Programming expertise in C#, Java, and JavaScript.
  • Proven hands-on desktop automation project implementations.
  • Strong knowledge of Git, JMeter, TestNG/JUnit, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines.

Job Type: Contractual / Temporary

Contract length: 6 months

Pay: ₹ ₹830.00 per hour
