Job Title: Home Automation Sales and Service Engineer-Mauritius

Job Summary:

We (ARIA Ltd) are looking for a skilled Home Automation Sales and Service Engineer to join our team. This role involves both sales and technical service responsibilities, including promoting, selling, installing, and maintaining smart home automation systems. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of automation technologies, excellent sales skills, and hands-on experience in troubleshooting and servicing automation systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Responsibilities:

· Identify and develop new business opportunities for smart home solutions.

· Conduct product presentations and demonstrations for potential clients.

· Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable automation solutions.

· Work with architects, interior designers, and contractors to integrate automation into residential projects.

· Prepare and present technical proposals, quotations, and system designs.

· Negotiate sales contracts and close deals to meet revenue targets.

· Maintain relationships with existing clients and generate repeat business.

Service & Technical Responsibilities:

· Install, configure, and commission home automation systems (lighting, security, climate control, audiovisual, etc.).

· Provide technical support and troubleshooting for installed systems.

· Conduct maintenance, repairs, and software updates for automation systems.

· Train customers on system usage and functionality.

· Collaborate with the support team to resolve complex technical issues.

· Ensure proper documentation of service reports and customer feedback.

Qualifications & Skills:

· Bachelor's degree or diploma in Electrical Electronics Engineering or a related field.

· 2+ years of experience in sales and/or servicing of home automation, IoT, AV, or security systems.

· Strong knowledge of smart home technologies (e.g., KNX, Crestron, Control4, Lutron, Zigbee, Z-Wave, RF based Automation).

· Hands-on experience in system installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance.

· Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

· Ability to interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals.

· Self-motivated with strong problem-solving abilities.

· Willingness to travel for client meetings and on-site support.

Preferred Skills:

· Experience in networking, CCTV, access control, or audiovisual systems.

· Knowledge of programming/configuring automation controllers.

· Familiarity with CRM and ticketing systems for service management.
