Role Overview:
The Site Engineer will be responsible for supervising, coordinating, and monitoring all on-site construction activities to ensure work is carried out safely, on time, within budget, and as per quality standards and specifications. The role involves acting as a key technical advisor on-site, managing subcontractors, liaising with clients, consultants, and ensuring proper documentation and progress reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily site activities and ensure compliance with project specifications, drawings, and safety regulations.
- Coordinate with the Project Manager, consultants, contractors, and subcontractors for smooth execution of works.
- Monitor project progress and prepare daily/weekly site reports.
- Ensure quality control of materials and workmanship as per standards.
- Verify setting out, levels, measurements, and ensure construction accuracy.
- Handle site-related technical queries and resolve issues in consultation with the project team.
- Ensure adherence to project timelines, budget, and safety standards.
- Manage resources including manpower, machinery, and materials effectively.
- Maintain proper documentation of drawings, work permits, inspections, and approvals.
- Support in billing, measurement verification, and client billing certification.
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Strong technical knowledge of civil engineering works, drawings, and construction methods.
- Good leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
- Problem-solving and decision-making ability.
- Good communication and reporting skills.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and quality standards.
Qualification & Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering (or related field).
- 5 years of experience in site execution, preferably in [Residential/Commercial/Industrial/Infrastructure] projects.
- Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and project management tools preferred.
Working Conditions:
- Based at construction sites.
- Requires flexibility to work extended hours as per project demands.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹25, ₹30,000.00 per month
