Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid Online Teacher role based in Bengaluru, with some opportunities for remote work. Responsibilities include designing and delivering engaging virtual lessons, creating customized learning plans for students, assisting with academic assignments, and fostering a supportive learning environment. Teachers will also be required to mentor students, provide constructive feedback, and leverage the Homework Guru platform to connect with learners and sell educational services. Collaboration with students, parents, and educational institutions may also be part of daily responsibilities.

Qualifications

  • Strong teaching and mentoring skills, with experience in delivering personalized online instruction
  • Proficiency in curriculum-based teaching for various educational systems (e.g., IB, IGCSE, American, ICSE, CBSE)
  • Ability to create engaging learning materials such as courses, notes, and lectures
  • Competence in communication, document editing, proofreading, and providing academic writing support
  • Basic digital proficiency to manage online teaching tools and platforms effectively
  • Flexibility to balance hybrid work and adapt to both virtual and on-site classroom environments
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Education, relevant subject areas, or related qualifications
  • Prior experience in teaching or tutoring is preferred but not mandatory
