Role Overview

We are looking for an HR Executive with at least 1 year of experience, ideally in technical hiring, to help us scale our team, streamline HR processes, and enhance employee engagement. This is a hands-on role with a lot of ownership across hiring, onboarding, HR operations, compliance, and culture building.

Key Responsibilities

End-to-End Recruitment

  • Work closely with founders and technical teams to hire engineers, operators, and support staff.
  • Own sourcing, screening, coordination, and interview process.

Employee Life Cycle Management

  • Manage onboarding, documentation, attendance, and exit processes.
  • Ensure smooth integration of new hires into the company culture.

HR Operations

  • Maintain and update employee records, contracts, and offer letters.
  • Assist with payroll coordination with finance/accounting.

Policy, Compliance & Workplace Regulations

  • Draft, implement, and periodically update HR policies in line with company growth.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, POSH (Prevention of Sexual Harassment) regulations, and on-site workplace policies.
  • Act as the first point of contact for compliance-related queries and coordinate with external legal/HR consultants when required.
  • Facilitate periodic awareness sessions and training for POSH and workplace safety.
  • Maintain grievance redressal mechanisms and ensure confidentiality in handling employee concerns.

Culture & Communication

  • Organize team bonding and engagement activities.
  • Actively promote diversity, inclusion, and a safe workplace environment.
  • Be a go-to person for internal queries, issues, or feedback.

Vendor Coordination

  • Coordinate with external recruiters, insurance providers, legal advisors, and HR tools/platforms.

What We're Looking For

  • 1+ years of experience in an HR/People Ops role
  • Exposure to technical hiring or engineering recruitment (preferred)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-driven
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment
  • Knowledge of HR tools (like HRMS/Excel/GSheets)
  • Basic understanding of payroll, statutory compliance, and HR policies
  • Familiarity with POSH Act, labor regulations, and workplace policy frameworks is a plus
