About the Role:

​

We are looking for a seasoned Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the financial strategy and governance for our textile business. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in manufacturing finance, cost optimization, working capital management, and strategic business planning. This role will be pivotal in driving growth, profitability, and operational efficiency across the value chain — from sourcing and production to distribution and exports.

Key Responsibilities:

​

Strategic Financial Leadership

​

Define and implement the company's overall financial strategy aligned with business goals.

​

Partner with the CEO and Board to drive long-term growth, investments, and expansion plans.

​

Support decision-making with accurate financial forecasting, analytics, and risk assessments.

​

Financial Management & Controls

​

Oversee accounting, budgeting, taxation, and treasury operations.

​

Implement robust internal controls, financial discipline, and compliance with statutory regulations.

​

Ensure timely closure of books, audits, and adherence to Ind-AS/IFRS accounting standards.

​

Cost & Manufacturing Finance

​

Drive cost optimization initiatives across raw materials, production, logistics, and supply chain.

​

Manage plant-level finance, inventory valuation, and variance analysis (RM, WIP, FG).

​

Oversee CAPEX budgeting and evaluate ROI on machinery and technology investments.

​

Working Capital & Cash Flow Management

​

Optimize working capital cycles — inventory, receivables, and payables management.

​

Maintain strong relationships with banks and financial institutions for credit lines and funding.

​

Manage forex exposure and hedging for import/export transactions.

​

Compliance & Governance

​

Ensure statutory compliance across taxation, GST, and company law matters.

​

Liaise with external auditors, legal advisors, and government authorities.

​

Drive transparency and financial accountability across departments.

​

Qualifications & Experience:

​

Chartered Accountant (CA) or CPA mandatory; additional MBA (Finance) preferred.

​

**15–20 years of experience in finance **leadership roles, with at least 5+ years as a CFO or Head of Finance in textile / apparel / manufacturing sector.

​

Strong understanding of costing, supply chain finance, export-import documentation, and ERP systems (SAP / Oracle / Tally Prime).

​

Proven experience managing multi-plant operations and large-scale financial transformations.

​

Excellent leadership, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.

​
