Key Responsibilities
• Brand Strategy & Positioning Develop and own the brand strategy for Amwoodo's D2C line: define brand vision, values, voice, visual identity, and positioning. Ensure consistency across all touchpoints and communications.
• Go-To-Market (GTM) & Launches Plan & execute product launches, promotional campaigns, and seasonal offerings. Create GTM plans that include messaging, creative, pricing, packaging, and channel strategy.
• Digital & Content Marketing Oversee/coordinate content, creative, and storytelling across digital channels (website, social media, email, influencer partnerships). Ensure messaging is engaging, on-brand, and optimized for customer conversion & retention.
• Customer Journey & Experience Own & improve the customer-facing touchpoints — website UX, packaging, post-purchase communication, unboxing experience, feedback loops — to build brand trust & loyalty.
• Data & Analytics Define and track KPIs: brand awareness, customer acquisition cost (CAC), customer lifetime value (LTV), retention, repeat purchase rate, engagement metrics. Use data insights to optimize campaigns, creatives, funnels.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with Product, Operations, Customer Support, Performance Marketing, Creative & Design teams. Coordinate with external agencies (creative, PR, influencers) as needed. Manage vendor/agency relationships, briefs, execution, budgets.
• Budget & ROI Management Manage marketing/brand budgets for D2C. Ensure spends are justified, optimized, and deliver positive ROI. Prioritize spend across initiatives for maximum impact.
• Market & Competitive Research Keep abreast of consumer behaviour, trends, competitor moves, sustainability space, design & packaging innovations. Identify opportunities for differentiation.
• Brand Health & Reporting Regularly report on brand health metrics, campaign performance, consumer feedback, emerging risks and opportunities. Present insights and recommendations to leadership.
Qualifications & Skills
•Experience: 4-8 years of relevant experience in brand management, marketing, or related roles, preferably in D2C, FMCG, lifestyle, sustainable products, or consumer goods.
•Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or related field. MBA or post-graduate degree is a plus.
•Digital Fluent: Strong understanding of digital marketing channels: social media, email, influencer marketing, content marketing. Familiar with eCommerce metrics, website/UX, CRM/retention.
•Creative & Storytelling Mindset: Ability to craft compelling brand stories; good sense of design, aesthetics, copy. Should be able to lead creative concepts and briefs.
•Analytical Skills: Strong comfort with numbers, metrics, tools. Ability to derive insights from data, use dashboards, run A/B tests etc.
•Project Management: Strong organizational & multitasking skills. Able to manage multiple campaigns, products, vendors, timelines.
•Communication & Leadership: Excellent verbal & written communication. Ability to work with internal teams, agencies. Should show ownership, proactivity.
•Values-Driven / Passionate: Interest in sustainability, environment, bamboo/plastic-alternative products will be a plus. Aligns with Amwoodo's mission & culture.
