Headquartered in Schaumburg, Illinois, Hunter has pioneered numerous innovations that have set industry standards. The company has earned nearly 150 patents globally, underscoring its commitment to technological advancement and quality.In July 2024, Hunter Foundry Machinery was acquired by SMG Group, a private investment firm. This acquisition aims to enhance Hunter's capabilities while preserving its legacy.Job Summary:The Head of Operations is responsible for overseeing the company's operational processes to ensure efficiency, productivity, and alignment with strategic objectives. This leadership role requires a deep understanding of business operations, process optimization, and team management. The role works cross-functionally to improve systems, implement best practices, and drive business performance.Key Responsibilities:Strategic Operations Management

  • Develop and implement operational strategies that support business growth.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to align operations with organizational goals.
  • Monitor KPIs to ensure performance targets are met or exceeded.

Process Improvement

  • Identify and execute process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
  • Standardize workflows and ensure consistency across departments.

Team Leadership

  • Lead, mentor, and develop department managers and teams across operations.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and high performance.

Budget and Resource Management

  • Manage operational budgets and forecasts.
  • Optimize resource allocation to improve cost efficiency.

Cross-functional Coordination

  • Coordinate with Sales, Marketing, HR, Finance, and IT to support business operations.
  • Ensure seamless execution of company initiatives and new projects.

Compliance and Risk Management

  • Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and company standards.
  • Identify and mitigate operational risks.

Technology and Tools

  • Evaluate and implement technology solutions to improve operational efficiency.
  • Oversee integration of tools and platforms across business units.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • 8–15 years of experience in operations or business management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of managing large-scale business operations.
  • Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹2,000, ₹2,500,000.00 per year
