About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated
Business Systems Analyst (BSA)
to support and optimize our
Workday Expense
and
Coupa
systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for gathering and defining business requirements, managing system configurations, ensuring seamless integrations between Workday and Coupa, and delivering insightful reports and analytics to support decision-making.

This is an
on-site role in Bangalore, India
, requiring strong collaboration with Finance, Procurement, and IT teams across global regions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary liaison between Finance, Procurement, and IT for Workday Expense and Coupa-related initiatives.
  • Gather, analyze, and document detailed business requirements for enhancements, new functionalities, and process improvements.
  • Configure and maintain Workday Expense and Coupa modules, ensuring system alignment with business needs.
  • Develop and maintain reports and dashboards in Workday and Coupa to provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
  • Support end-to-end testing for system changes, enhancements, and integrations.
  • Collaborate with global teams to ensure process consistency and compliance with corporate policies.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, coordinating with Workday and Coupa support teams as needed.
  • Manage user roles, permissions, and data governance within both systems.
  • Provide training and documentation for business users and support teams.
  • Assist in month-end and quarter-end close activities by ensuring data accuracy and timely reporting.

Qualifications & Skills

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, or related field.
  • 3–6 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or similar role with a focus on
    Workday Expenses
    and/or
    Coupa
    .
  • Strong understanding of expense management, procurement workflows, and P2P processes.
  • Proven experience in requirements gathering, process documentation, and stakeholder management.
  • Proficiency in
    Workday Reporting (Advanced, Composite, and Matrix reports)
    and
    Coupa Analytics
    .
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities across global teams.

Preferred:

  • Experience with Workday integrations (EIB, Core Connectors, or Studio).
  • Exposure to other financial systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, NetSuite).
  • Knowledge of SOX compliance and internal controls in expense and procurement systems.
  • Workday or Coupa certifications a plus.
