Job Title: CNC Operator / Setter / Programmer

Salary Range: ₹15,000 – ₹25,000 per month (based on skills & experience)

Employment Type: Full-time

About the Role

We are seeking skilled CNC Operators, Setters, and Programmers to handle CNC machines (Lathe, VMC, HMC, Milling, Turning Centers). The candidate will be responsible for machine setup, operation, and programming to produce precision parts as per engineering drawings and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

CNC Operator

  • Operate CNC machines as per work instructions.

CNC Setter

  • Set up machines with required tools, fixtures, and programs.
  • Perform offsets, tool changes, and adjustments.
  • Ensure first-piece approval and hand over to operator.
  • Troubleshoot machining issues (tool wear, dimension deviation).
  • Support preventive maintenance and machine upkeep.

CNC Programmer

  • Create / modify CNC programs (Fanuc, Siemens, Haas, etc.).
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings & GD&T.
  • Select cutting tools, speeds, and feeds for optimized machining.
  • Simulate and validate programs before production.
  • Train operators and setters on machining best practices.
  • Support process improvements for productivity and quality.
  • Load/unload components, tools, and fixtures.
  • Monitor machining process and ensure product quality.
  • Perform basic inspection with vernier, micrometer, gauges, etc.
  • Maintain daily production records and follow safety guidelines.

Qualifications & Skills

  • SSC / HSC / Any Graduation / ITI / Diploma / BE (Mechanical, Production, Tool & Die) or equivalent.
  • Operator: 1–5 years exp (Freshers with ITI/Diploma can apply).
  • Setter: 1–5 years exp in CNC machine setup.
  • Programmer: 1–8 years exp in CNC programming & process planning.
  • Knowledge of CNC controls.
  • Ability to read engineering drawings and use measuring instruments.
  • Problem-solving & teamwork skills.
