Job Description:

A relationship manager (RM) in commercial real estate builds and maintains relationships with clients, developers, and investors. They act as a trusted advisor and main point of contact for clients, helping them with their financial goals and challenges. An RM's responsibilities include: 
  • Understanding clients: Determining a client's needs and financial abilities to propose solutions 

  • Marketing and purchasing: Assisting buyers and sellers in marketing and purchasing property 

  • Negotiating: Participating in negotiation meetings and ensuring fair and honest dealing 

  • Generating business: Contacting new clients, setting up new business opportunities, and converting prospects into customers 

  • Analyzing: Performing comparative market analysis to estimate property value 

  • Advising: Consulting clients on market conditions, prices, mortgages, legal requirements, and related matters
