Job Summary
We are seeking a
Payment Collection Team Leader
with strong
hands-on experience in collection and recovery operations
. The role requires leading a team of collection executives, ensuring effective user charge recovery, and maintaining smooth coordination with field teams and customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and guide a team of collection executives for on-ground recovery operations.
  • Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly collection targets and ensure achievement.
  • Use prior collection/recovery experience to implement strategies for reducing defaults.
  • Conduct field visits for difficult or escalated cases.
  • Maintain and update MIS reports on recovery performance and outstanding dues.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, municipal/ULB guidelines, and legal norms.
  • Train, motivate, and support the collection team to improve efficiency.
  • Handle customer grievances and ensure smooth collection processes.
  • Coordinate with management for planning and execution of collection strategies.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Graduate in any discipline.
  • 2–3 years of proven experience in collection/recovery (mandatory).
  • Prior team handling experience in collections is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of collection techniques, recovery tools, and field operations.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and people management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and achieve targets.
