Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru. The Kernel Debugging Engineer will be responsible for debugging and analyzing kernel-level and low-level driver issues, ensuring the optimization and performance of system software. Responsibilities include identifying problems in real-time, analyzing and resolving kernel crashes, and collaborating with system engineers to deliver robust solutions. The role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the highest quality and efficiency in software development.

Qualifications

  • Strong expertise in Kernel Debugging, low-level driver debugging, and familiarity with kernel boot processes
  • Proficiency in system software debugging tools and techniques, along with excellent problem-solving skills
  • Experience with Linux Kernel, device drivers, and embedded system development
  • Working knowledge of C programming, memory management, and real-time operating systems (RTOS)
  • Familiarity with hardware-software integration and debugging tools like JTAG and oscilloscopes
  • Ability to work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field
  • 3-10 years of experience in kernel-level debugging or a related role
  • Experience in the semiconductor or embedded technology industry is a plus
