About the Role:

We are an export-driven agile international company seeking a detail-oriented Accountant with solid expertise in
Indian accounting, compliance, and FEMA regulations
. You'll manage core financial operations, ensure statutory and RBI compliance, and play a key role in supporting our management with
cash flow monitoring
,
budgeting
, and
financial reporting
.

The role is based in Pune.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate books of accounts, invoices, and reconciliations using
    Tally / ERP /
  • Ensure compliance with
    FEMA
    and
    RBI
    for all export transactions, inward remittances, and FDI reporting.
  • Prepare and file
    GST
    ,
    TDS
    , and
    Income Tax returns
    on time.
  • Coordinate with banks and consultants for
    Form 15CA/CB
    ,
    FLA
    , and
    SOFTEX
    submissions.
  • Track export proceeds and ensure timely realization of foreign income.
  • Assist in
    statutory audits
    ,
    tax audits
    , and
    ROC filings
    .
  • Maintain proper documentation for
    foreign investments
    ,
    share allotments
    , and
    RBI filings (FC-GPR / FC-TRS)
    .
  • Support management with
    cash flow monitoring
    ,
    budgeting
    , and
    financial reporting
    .
  • Stay updated on changes in
    FEMA, GST, Income Tax, and Transfer Pricing
    compliance.

Qualifications & Skills

  • B.Com / M.Com / CA (Inter) / CMA
    or equivalent.
  • 3–6 years of accounting and compliance experience, preferably in a
    startup
    or
    export-oriented company
    .
  • Strong working knowledge of
    FEMA
    ,
    RBI guidelines
    ,
    GST
    , and
    Companies Act
    .
  • Proficiency in
    Tally, Excel
    , and online compliance portals.
  • Excellent attention to detail, ownership, and communication skills.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with
    foreign remittances, FDI, or startup funding compliance
    .
  • Exposure to
    SEZ/STPI units
    ,
    Transfer Pricing
    , or
    ESOP accounting
    .
