Role & responsibilities

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant with 13 years of experience to manage day-to-day accounting operations at our Pune office. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in financial accounting, taxation, payroll, and proficiency in accounting software and Excel.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain day-to-day accounts, ledger entries, and reconcile financial statements

Prepare and file GST returns, TDS, and other statutory compliance documents

Manage payroll processing, including salary disbursements, deductions, and compliance

Support month-end and year-end close processes

Prepare financial reports such as P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements

Assist with audits (internal and statutory)

Monitor accounts receivable/payable and follow up on outstanding invoices

Ensure timely and accurate data entry in accounting software

Coordinate with internal teams and external consultants (CA, auditor, etc.)

Required Skills and Qualifications:

B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) or equivalent 1–3 years of hands-on accounting experience.

Good knowledge of financial accounting, taxation (GST, TDS), and payroll management

Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.)

Working knowledge of accounting software (Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, etc.)

Understanding of statutory compliance and financial regulations

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks

Salary: As per industry standards, based on experience and skills.
