Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for government stakeholders throughout the HMIS implementation process.
  • Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with government representatives at central, regional, and facility levels.
  • Address and manage client concerns, providing timely resolutions and ensuring clear documentation of issues and outcomes.
  • Coordinate with internal project teams to align technical, operational, and support functions with client needs and government requirements.
  • Facilitate regular review meetings, workshops, and stakeholder briefings to ensure alignment, progress tracking, and shared accountability.
  • Prepare and deliver formal reports, dashboards, and presentations for government leadership and oversight bodies.
  • Monitor stakeholder satisfaction and implement structured engagement plans to enhance trust and collaboration.
  • Support change management and guide facility leadership through the HMIS adoption process, addressing resistance and ensuring buy-in.
  • Ensure compliance with all government reporting standards, contractual obligations, and project governance frameworks.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Public Health, Health Informatics, Business Administration, or related discipline.
  • 10+ years of experience in client engagement, program management, or stakeholder relations, with a focus on government or large-scale public health projects.
  • Strong understanding of health systems operations and HMIS/digital health solutions.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and presentation skills.
  • Proven success in managing multi-site implementations and working with government agencies or public-sector clients.
  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate, influence, and manage expectations at senior levels of government.
  • Willingness to travel frequently to health facilities as required.
