Engagement Manager

Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for government stakeholders throughout the HMIS implementation process.
- Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with government representatives at central, regional, and facility levels.
- Address and manage client concerns, providing timely resolutions and ensuring clear documentation of issues and outcomes.
- Coordinate with internal project teams to align technical, operational, and support functions with client needs and government requirements.
- Facilitate regular review meetings, workshops, and stakeholder briefings to ensure alignment, progress tracking, and shared accountability.
- Prepare and deliver formal reports, dashboards, and presentations for government leadership and oversight bodies.
- Monitor stakeholder satisfaction and implement structured engagement plans to enhance trust and collaboration.
- Support change management and guide facility leadership through the HMIS adoption process, addressing resistance and ensuring buy-in.
- Ensure compliance with all government reporting standards, contractual obligations, and project governance frameworks.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Public Health, Health Informatics, Business Administration, or related discipline.
- 10+ years of experience in client engagement, program management, or stakeholder relations, with a focus on government or large-scale public health projects.
- Strong understanding of health systems operations and HMIS/digital health solutions.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and presentation skills.
- Proven success in managing multi-site implementations and working with government agencies or public-sector clients.
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate, influence, and manage expectations at senior levels of government.
- Willingness to travel frequently to health facilities as required.
