Role OverviewWe are looking for an experienced and innovative QA Engineer to join our core engineering leadership team. This is a high-impact role that will define quality standards, build automation ecosystems, and elevate engineering craftsmanship across our web and mobile product suite.
You will take full ownership of ensuring that every user enjoys a seamless, reliable, and delightful experience powered by high-quality releases.
Key Responsibilities1. Quality Ownership
- Ensure consistent, reliable, and high-quality user experiences across all Habuild products.
- Set and uphold engineering-wide quality standards.
- Build, scale, and maintain automation frameworks for both web and mobile platforms.
- Integrate AI-assisted tools to speed up testing and reduce manual effort.
- Improve and optimize CI/CD pipelines for fast, reliable releases.
- Define and track critical KPIs for product quality, release reliability, and developer productivity.
- Continuously refine the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) to improve both speed and stability.
- Work closely with Product, Design, and Business teams to validate features, ensure requirement coverage, and deliver high-quality releases.
- Detect, document, and escalate issues proactively.
- Explore and integrate modern testing tools and AI-based debugging solutions.
- Contribute to building scalable QA processes that support rapid growth.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in QA (manual + automation).
- Strong expertise in automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, Playwright, Cypress).
- Experience testing both web and mobile applications.
- Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and modern development workflows.
- Ability to architect test plans, strategies, and quality metrics.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in high-scale consumer product companies.
- Exposure to AI-assisted testing or debugging tools.
- Knowledge of performance testing and backend/API testing.
- Ability to work in fast-paced, high-ownership startup environments.
