Job Title: Senior Accountant

Location: Kolkata

Experience: 10–15 Years

CTC: 35K to 60k

About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Accountant with a strong background in accounting and financial operations. The candidate will be responsible for managing core financial tasks, ensuring compliance, and supporting audits and reporting with precision and integrity.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily accounting activities and ensure accurate financial entries.
  • Manage banking operations including Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRS) and passbook maintenance.
  • Execute online banking procedures – RTGS, NEFT, cheque issuance, and fund transfers.
  • Maintain and update books in Tally ERP.
  • Prepare timely financial reports, MIS, and reconciliations in Excel.
  • File GST, TDS, and ROC returns and ensure statutory compliance.
  • Draft and manage account-related official correspondence.
  • Coordinate with external auditors, banks, and regulatory bodies.
  • Supervise receivables and payables to maintain financial health.

Candidate Requirements:

  • 10–15 years of hands-on accounting experience.
  • Strong proficiency in Tally ERP and advanced Excel skills.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of BRS, taxation laws (GST/TDS), ROC filing.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and documentation skills.
  • Capable of working independently and maintaining financial confidentiality.
