Key Responsibilities1. Financial Accounting & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate books of accounts in compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for façade projects.
  • Ensure timely closing of accounts, including accruals, provisions, and reconciliations.

2. Project Accounting (Façade-Specific)

  • Monitor project costs, budgets, and profitability.
  • Track BOQ, material consumption, fabrication vs. installation cost allocation.
  • Prepare WIP reports, project cash flow statements, and cost-to-complete analysis.
  • Coordinate with project managers for variation orders, claims, and billing updates.

3. Accounts Payable & Receivable

  • Verify subcontractor invoices, fabrication bills, and site measurement sheets.
  • Check material supplier invoices against GRN, purchase orders, and delivery schedules.
  • Follow up on client payments, retention releases, and certification approvals.
  • Manage aging analysis and implement credit control measures.

4. Taxation & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with local taxation laws (VAT/GST/TDS, etc.).
  • Prepare tax returns, regulatory filings, and statutory reports.
  • Liaise with external auditors for yearly audit processes.

5. Banking & Treasury

  • Handle bank reconciliations, LC tracking, payments, and cash flow management.
  • Monitor fund requirements for ongoing façade projects.

6. Internal Controls & Process Improvement

  • Strengthen cost-control processes and financial SOPs.
  • Improve accuracy in project cost tracking and material inventory management.
  • Implement ERP/accounting system enhancements (SAP, Odoo, Tally, etc.).

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (MBA/CA/CPA preferred).
  • 4–7 years of accounting experience, preferably in façade, construction, or contracting industry.
  • Strong knowledge of project costing, WIP, subcontracting, and supplier management.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (SAP / Odoo / Tally / ERP systems).
  • Advanced MS Excel and data analysis skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and team coordination skills.
