About Us

Central Queensland Radiology (CQR), part of the Integral Diagnostics (IDX Group), provides high-quality diagnostic imaging across eight practices in Central Queensland, including Gladstone, Rockhampton, Yeppoon, and Emerald. We also work closely with our sister company, Sunshine Coast Radiology.

About the Role

We're seeking a motivated full-time or part-time Medical Receptionist to join our busy front desk team at Emerald Hospital. You'll be the welcoming face of our practice, supporting patients attending X-ray, Ultrasound, CT and more.

Hours:

• Full-time: Monday–Friday, rostered between 8:00am–5:00pm

• Part-time: Monday–Friday, 20 hours per week

Your Day Might Include:

• Welcoming patients and providing exceptional service

• Managing bookings, payments, Medicare and Health Fund claims

• Liaising with referrers, doctors, and patients

• Participating in team meetings and training

• Maintaining compliance with health, safety, and HR policies

About You

• Experience in medical, dental, allied health, or hospital reception

• Confident with booking systems and strong computer skills

• Understanding of (or interest in learning) medical terminology

• Warm, professional communication and excellent presentation

• A team player with integrity and a patient-first mindset
