Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Sales Head to lead Vibrant Publishers' sales function. The role involves driving revenue growth, building strong partnerships with academic institutions, and expanding Vibrant's footprint in domestic and international markets. As a senior leader, you will be responsible for defining sales strategies, managing a high-performing sales team, and collaborating closely with marketing and product teams to achieve organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and implement the overall sales strategy for institutional and B2B partnerships.
 - Lead, coach, and manage the sales team (including Sr. Relationship Manager and REs) to meet and exceed targets.
 - Drive business development initiatives to expand into new academic and professional segments.
 - Build and maintain strategic relationships with universities, colleges, schools, and corporate partners.
 - Monitor sales KPIs, pipeline health, and conversion rates; present reports to leadership.
 - Oversee negotiations and ensure successful closure of large-scale deals.
 - Collaborate with marketing to align sales campaigns and lead-generation strategies.
 - Identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and new product adoption.
 - Represent Vibrant Publishers at conferences, academic fairs, and industry events.
 - Stay updated on market trends in publishing, education, and edtech to inform sales strategies.
 
Requirements
- 5-8 years of experience in B2B / Institutional Sales, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.
 - Proven track record of driving sales growth and leading high-performing teams.
 - Strong experience in publishing, education, or edtech industry is highly preferred.
 - Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
 - Ability to set targets, analyze sales data, and make data-driven decisions.
 - Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA strongly preferred).
 - Familiarity with CRM platforms such as Zoho, Salesforce, or HubSpot.
