Practitioner should provide coverage during YEC/MEC/QEC, On demand Night support, P1/P2 On Call support.

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Hyperion EPM Techno-Functional Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in supporting and enhancing Oracle Hyperion applications, including Essbase, FDMEE, HPCM, DRM, and HFM, along with strong scripting and automation skills. This role requires excellent communication abilities, a proactive approach to understanding business requirements, and a willingness to work night shifts and cross-skills as needed.

Key Responsibilities

Hyperion Essbase (Must Have)

• Design and develop ASO/BSO applications and cubes.
• Create and maintain rules for metadata loading in ASO/BSO applications.
• Develop and optimize Calculation Scripts, MAXL/MDX Scripts, and report scripts.
• Automate data loads and calculations using Maxl scripts and batch/shell scripting.
• Perform performance tuning and troubleshooting for Essbase applications.
• Analyze SQL tables/views for metadata loading and performance issues.
• Manage security through filters, variables, and group assignments.
• Conduct log analysis and issue resolution for Essbase applications.

Hyperion FDMEE (Must Have)

• Architect data load rules, including source/target systems, location/import format, period/category mappings, and mapping types.
• Analyze logs and resolve issues related to FDMEE data loads.

Hyperion HPCM (Must Have)

• Develop and maintain MDX scripts.
• Migrate applications, POVs, and models between environments.
• Manage security for HPCM reports and handle ad hoc requests (e.g., data clear, POV delete).

Hyperion DRM (Good to have)

• Understand DRM application versions and security configurations.

Hyperion HFM (Good to have)

• Comprehend HFM architecture, including JV postings, data grids, security, and backup processes.

Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) (Basic/Good to Have)

• Basic understanding of ODI to support team collaboration.

Hyperion Financial Reporting (Good to Have)

• Migrate reports, manage security, update application connectivity, and configure batch scheduling.

Scripting & Automation (Must Have)

• Develop Linux shell scripts and Windows batch scripts to automate Maxl and other processes.
• Use Python scripting for FDMEE and related automation tasks.

SmartView (Must Have)

• Utilize SmartView for data retrieval, running calc scripts, and troubleshooting performance issues.

General Responsibilities

• Collaborate with users to gather requirements and deliver enhancements in Essbase, HFM, HPCM, FDMEE, and HFR.
• Provide support and resolve issues across the Hyperion EPM landscape.
• EPM administration knowledge is a plus.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Techno-functional experience
  in Hyperion Essbase, FDMEE, HPCM, DRM, and HFM.
• Scripting expertise:
  Linux, Windows batch, Python.
• Essbase cube design
  and batch automation proficiency.
• Strong SQL analysis
  skills for metadata and performance troubleshooting.
• Excellent communication skills
  and ability to interpret business requirements.
• SmartView and Excel Add-In
  troubleshooting experience.
• Good to have:
  EPM administration and ODI knowledge.
