Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced
Application Developer
to design, build, and configure applications that meet business process and application requirements. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into scalable, secure, and performant solutions. You will own development tasks, participate in testing and debugging, and continuously drive improvements in application efficiency and user experience. This role expects independent contributors who will grow into an SME (L3) within the program.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and configure applications aligned with business requirements and architecture standards.
  • Work independently to deliver features and become an L3 SME for assigned components.
  • Actively participate in team discussions, sprint planning, and technical design reviews.
  • Provide pragmatic solutions to production and development challenges.
  • Perform code reviews to enforce quality, security, and best practices.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, application specifications, and user guides.
  • Participate in testing, debugging, and performance tuning of applications.
  • Support deployment and release activities, and collaborate with operations for incident resolution.

Professional & Technical Skills

Must-have

  • Minimum
    4 years
    hands-on experience with
    Kubernetes
    (clusters, deployments, Helm, operators, networking, RBAC, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of container orchestration and lifecycle management.
  • Experience with microservices design patterns and deployment strategies.
  • Proven troubleshooting and application performance optimization skills.
  • Good coding practices and experience with source control, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing.

Good-to-have

  • Experience with
    Microsoft Azure Active Directory
    (AAD) integration and identity management.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, GCP, AWS) and managed Kubernetes services (AKS, GKE, EKS).
  • Knowledge of observability tooling (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK) and distributed tracing.
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, ARM templates).
  • Experience with container security best practices and scanning tools.
