Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Product Manager with strong expertise in the Banking and Financial Services domain. The ideal candidate will manage end-to-end product lifecycle activities— from requirements gathering to release management—ensuring delivery of high-quality digital banking solutions. The role involves working closely with business, technology, and operations teams to enhance banking products and improve customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Own and deliver product documentation including BRDs, FRDs, traceability matrices, and release reports.

Translate banking business requirements (e.g., Payments, Loans, Trade Finance, Core Banking, Digital Channels, or Cards) into detailed Epics, Features, and User Stories.

Manage and maintain Epics and Product Backlogs in JIRA/ALM throughout the development lifecycle—from elaboration to acceptance.

Collaborate with Business Analysts, Solution Architects, and Engineering teams to define product scope and ensure technical alignment.

Define and communicate release plans and delivery objectives for multiple banking product initiatives.

Work with stakeholders such as Product Owners, Compliance, and Operations teams to ensure regulatory adherence (RBI, PCI DSS, etc.).

Ensure delivery timelines are met while maintaining product quality and performance benchmarks.

Take ownership of multiple banking modules or localized product versions.

Drive and implement Agile/Scrum best practices, ensuring continuous improvement and faster delivery cycles.

Prepare structured release reports, product metrics, and performance dashboards.

Collaborate with Quality Assurance teams to validate features and resolve defects in a timely manner.

Requirements:

6–9 years of Product Management experience, preferably within Banking, Financial Services, or FinTech domains.

Strong understanding of banking products such as Payments, Core Banking Systems, Digital Channels, and Lending Platforms.

Experience with batch processing solutions, transaction workflows, and settlement systems.

Proven ability to convert complex banking processes into simple, actionable user stories and product features.

Hands-on experience with JIRA/ALM for backlog and release management.

Strong coordination and prioritization skills in multi-project environments.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management across Business, Technology, and Compliance teams.

Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience leading Agile ceremonies.

Experience working with geographically distributed teams and third-party banking solution vendors.
