Role Overview

As a Data Analyst at The White Willow, you will play a pivotal role in shaping business strategy through data. You'll work closely with leadership, product, marketing, operations, and finance teams to uncover trends, solve complex problems, and build a scalable, insight-led decision-making culture.

Key Responsibilities : Data Management & Infrastructure

  • Maintain and optimize data pipelines for real-time insights across Shopify, Amazon, Google Analytics, and ERP systems.
  • Ensure data integrity by cleaning, validating, and integrating datasets from multiple sources (e.g. Ads, Sales, Logistics, Returns).
  • Build dashboards and reports in Google Sheets, Power BI, or Tableau for functions like Sales, Inventory, Customer Experience, and Ads.
  • Automate daily/weekly reporting across internal teams — including financial snapshots, profitability reports, and recognition metrics.
  • Work with brand teams to test hypotheses, evaluate product performance, and guide category expansion.

Business Support

  • Assist in forecasting demand, optimizing marketing spends, and tracking inventory health.
  • Support new launches with competitor benchmarking, pricing models, and early performance tracking.

What We're Looking For Education

  • Bachelor's or Master's in Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, or related fields.

Experience

  • 2–4 years in a similar role, preferably in a D2C/eCommerce environment.
  • Hands-on with Shopify, Amazon reports, Google Analytics, Meta Ads/Google Ads data, etc.
  • Strong command over Excel, SQL, and either Python

Skills

  • Excellent with numbers, but also storytelling — you can turn rows of data into business actions.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and prioritizing high-impact insights.
  • Eye for trends, outliers, and patterns that most miss.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with profitability tools like SellerBoard or ProfitWell.
  • Understanding of logistics dashboards, warehousing metrics, and returns analytics.
  • Exposure to tools like Klaviyo, Ads Manager, or GA4.
