  • Essential Responsibilities
  • Proactively and regularly communicate project status, risks, and other issues.Conduct exploratory testing on features and bug fixes using both manual and automated techniques.Identify, create, update, and track software defects, and review test results.Stay current with the latest best practices in Software Engineering.Work effectively with minimal supervision within a distributed team.Update Jira issues and actively participate in reviews and other assigned duties.
  • Experience & SkillsBachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.5 - 8 years of professional experience as a Software Automation Test Engineer with focus on Web and API automation.Strong knowledge of software test design techniques (equivalence class, boundary value, decision table, use case testing).Hands-on experience in Agile testing practices including BDD, test automation, exploratory testing, and continuous integration.
  • Proficient in developing Sanity, Regression, and Automation suites.
  • Skilled in writing BDD test cases and working with qTest.Proficient in testing Web Services and RESTful APIs.Experience with automation frameworks (Mandatory).
  • Experience creating automation scripts for web automation testing using Selenium / testing Kafka and RabbitMQ.
  • Experience with Javascript/Typescript/Java programming languages.Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), design patterns, and best practices.Good knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud services.Strong understanding of Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD) practices.Ability to comprehend and communicate effectively with management, engineers, and customers.Strong analytical skills to interpret complex technical documents, diagrams, and data models.
