Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled SDET with expertise in WebdriverIO, Playwright, and strong programming skills in JavaScript/TypeScript to join our QA Automation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building robust, scalable automation frameworks and driving end-to-end test coverage for our web and API platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using WebDriver IO and Playwright
  • Implement and maintain BDD tests using Cucumber
  • Develop reusable test components using Page Object Model (POM)
  • Perform API automation testing and validation using appropriate tools
  • Integrate test scripts into CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or similar tools
  • Handle configuration through YAML files for pipelines and environments
  • Generate detailed HTML reports for test execution and share with stakeholders
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA leads to ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle
  • Ensure test reliability in Dockerized environments
  • Participate in code reviews and mentor junior team members if required

Required Skills & Technologies:

  • Experience in API Automation Testing
  • Proficient in using Git and version control practices
  • Hands-on experience with Docker
  • Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins)
  • Experience with YAML file handling
  • Ability to create and maintain HTML test reports
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
