About Vibedu Study Abroad
Vibedu Study Abroad is an overseas-education consultancy committed to helping students realize their aspirations of studying abroad. We guide students through university selection, admissions, visa processes, and pre-departure counseling — offering end-to-end support for study destinations like UK, Canada, Australia, USA, Europe, and beyond. As we expand our presence in Coimbatore, we are looking for a dynamic BDE to spearhead outreach, student acquisition, and brand building at the local level.
What You'll Do — Key Responsibilities
- Lead Generation & Outreach:
Proactively source student leads via social media, educational fairs, school/college visits, local networking, and referrals. - Student Counseling & Conversion:
Engage interested students/parents, understand their academic background and aspirations, counsel them on suitable countries, courses, costs, scholarships, and guide them through application process. - Partnership & Network Building:
Establish and maintain relationships with high-schools, colleges, coaching centers, influencers, former students — to build a referral network in Coimbatore and nearby regions. - Coordination & Process Management:
Work with internal admissions, documentation, and visa-counseling teams to ensure seamless end-to-end service for students; track each lead through CRM from enquiry → counselling → admission. - Events & Promotion:
Organize or participate in education seminars, webinars, school/college outreach programs, workshops, and fairs to promote Vibedu's offerings. - Target & KPI Achievement:
Meet or exceed monthly/quarterly targets for enquiries, counselling conversions, and admissions. Report performance to management and contribute insights for market strategy. - Market Research & Feedback:
Keep updated on latest global education trends, visa regulations, scholarship changes; collect student feedback; help refine Vibedu's offerings accordingly.
Who You Are — Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (any discipline).
- 2-3 years of experience in sales, business development, counselling, or admissions — preferably in education, abroad-education consultancy, or related domain
- Excellent written and verbal communication in Tamil and English.
- Strong interpersonal skills, confidence in engaging students and families, and ability to build trust.
- Good negotiation skills — ability to counsel, persuade, and convert leads.
- Result-driven, target-oriented mindset, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently.
- Comfortable with
fieldwork / travelling to schools/colleges, meeting students or parents face-to-face (if necessary). - Basic computer skills — MS Office, ability to update CRM/spreadsheets, manage documentation.
