Job Purpose

To lead the Financial Planning & Analysis function for the company, ensuring robust business planning, financial control, and strategic decision support. The role will drive profitability analysis, financial forecasting, and business partnering across product lines and regions to enable data-driven decision-making and sustainable growth in the housing finance business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Financial Planning: Lead long-range financial planning, annual budgets, and rolling forecasts aligned with business strategy and lending objectives.
  • Performance Management: Conduct monthly business reviews with leadership, providing insights on disbursals, NIM, opex, cost of funds, and productivity metrics.
  • Profitability Analysis: Drive branch, region, and product-level profitability assessment, highlighting improvement levers and efficiency opportunities.
  • Business Partnering: Collaborate with Business, Credit, Treasury, and Collections teams to evaluate new product pricing, yield optimization, and cost control.
  • Reporting & Analytics: Build and maintain dashboards and MIS reports (Power BI/SAP BI/Excel) for management and investors; ensure timely delivery of variance analyses and KPI tracking.
  • Investor & Board Reporting: Support CFO in preparing investor decks and board presentations, summarizing performance trends and strategic initiatives.
  • Automation & Digitisation: Implement tools and process improvements to enhance data accuracy, reduce turnaround time, and automate recurring analyses.
  • Governance & Compliance: Ensure adherence to accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory reporting requirements.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Education: Chartered Accountant (CA) or MBA (Finance).
  • Experience: 812 years in FP&A, Business Finance, or Corporate Finance; prior NBFC/housing finance experience preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced Excel, Power BI/SAP BI, Financial Modelling, and Data Analysis.
  • Behavioral Competencies: Strong analytical acumen, business partnering skills, leadership presence, and stakeholder management capability.
