Job Title:
Chartered Accountant – Accounting & Statutory Compliance

Key Responsibilities -

Accounting & Reporting

  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations including GL, AP, AR, reconciliations, and expense management.
  • Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closure.
  • Prepare standalone and consolidated financial statements in line with Ind AS and Companies Act.
  • Assist in preparation of IPO-related financial disclosures, DRHP support schedules.

Statutory Compliance & Taxation

  • Ensure compliance with Companies Act, Income Tax, GST, TDS, PF, ESI, Professional Tax, and SEBI regulations.
  • Prepare and file statutory returns (Income Tax, TDS, GST, ROC, etc.) within timelines.
  • Support transfer pricing compliance, documentation, and related-party reporting.
  • Ind AS, SEBI LODR, and other regulatory updates relevant for listed entities.

Audit & Controls

  • Coordinate with statutory, internal, tax, and secretarial auditors for timely closure of audits.
  • Prepare audit schedules, support DRHP due diligence, and respond to auditor queries.
  • Assist in strengthening processes and controls to meet listed-company requirements.

IPO Readiness & Investor Support

  • Work closely with Merchant Bankers, Consultants, and Legal teams on IPO-related compliance and due diligence.
  • Support in preparation of DRHP financial sections and disclosures.
  • Assist in management reporting, variance analysis, and board-level presentations.

Key Skills & Competencies -

  • Strong knowledge of Ind AS, Companies Act, Income Tax, GST.
  • Experience in handling statutory audits, transfer pricing, and compliance in a corporate setup.
  • Proficiency in ERP/accounting software (Quick Books/Tally/Zoho) and advanced MS Excel.
  • Analytical, detail-oriented, and able to work under timelines.
  • Good communication and ability to coordinate with external auditors, bankers, and consultants.

Qualifications & Experience -

  • Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA).
  • 2–5 years of post-qualification experience in accounting, statutory compliance, and audit.
  • Prior exposure to IPO readiness, listed company compliance, or transfer pricing is an added advantage.
