Job Description:

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced ETL QA Engineer to join our team.

The ideal candidate should have a strong background in data warehousing, ETL testing and BI report testing, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to ensuring data quality and integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test SQL scripts for ETL processes.
  • Validate data extraction, transformation, and loading workflows.
  • Identify and report data quality issues and inconsistencies.
  • Collaborate with ETL developers and data engineers to resolve data quality issues.
  • Analyze test results and provide detailed reports to stakeholders.
  • Participate in requirement reviews and provide timely feedback.
  • Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities.
  • Ensure thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
  • Monitor and ensure the quality of data in production environments.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in ETL testing and data warehousing.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and database concepts and Ability to write and interpret complex SQL queries.
  • Extensive experience and proficiency in BI intelligence report testing and have experience in PowerBI / SAP BO.
  • Experience working in insurance domain, preferably Life and Reinsurance
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to data quality.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with ETL tools such as Informatica, Talend, or SSIS.
  • Experience with cloud-based data warehousing solutions.
  • Proficiency in test automation tools and scripting languages like Java, JavaScript,Python
  • Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB).
