Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Facade Designer to lead the design and detailing of façade, aluminium, glazing, and cladding systems. The candidate will be responsible for guiding the design team, coordinating with consultants, ensuring technical accuracy, and delivering high-quality shop drawings and fabrication drawings for façade projects.

Key ResponsibilitiesDesign & Technical

  • Lead the preparation of shop drawings, fabrication drawings, GA drawings, elevation details, and section details for façade systems.
  • Develop detailed façade designs including curtain wall, unitized systems, ACP cladding, aluminium windows/doors, structural glazing, skylights, louvers, etc.
  • Review architectural & structural drawings and translate them into practical façade solutions.
  • Prepare glass schedules, profile schedules, hardware schedules, and material lists.
  • Ensure design accuracy, engineering feasibility, and compliance with project specifications.

Team & Project Coordination

  • Guide and mentor junior façade designers and draftsmen.
  • Review and approve drawings prepared by the design team before submission.
  • Coordinate with project managers, estimation, procurement, production, and site teams.
  • Attend technical meetings with clients, consultants, and contractors.
  • Provide design clarifications and resolve technical issues during execution.

Quality & Standards

  • Ensure all drawings follow industry standards, tolerances, and fabrication requirements.
  • Maintain revisions, drawing logs, and documentation for all projects.
  • Suggest improvements in design processes and implement best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 7–10 years of experience in façade/aluminium/glazing design.
  • Expert proficiency in AutoCAD 2D.
  • Strong knowledge of façade systems, aluminium profiles, unitized systems, glass types, ACP, hardware, sealants, gaskets, etc.
  • Strong understanding of structural and architectural detailing.
  • Ability to independently handle complete façade design packages from concept to fabrication.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to provide practical engineering solutions.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills.

Pay: ₹63, ₹76,841.68 per year
