Position Title: Senior Manager HRIS & REGIONAL PAYROLL _ INDIA

Reports To: General Manager - HR

Location: Head Office SBS (NESCO_Mumbai)

General Responsibilities:

The Senior Manager – HRIS & Regional Payroll will lead end-to-end HRIS governance and regional payroll operations for SBS. The role requires a strong analytical mindset, high data accuracy orientation, and deep expertise in HRIS systems, payroll processes, and statutory compliance—particularly minimum wages and CTC structuring. The incumbent will manage and develop a team responsible for supporting a large, predominantly blue-collar workforce, while driving effective collaboration with HR, Payroll, IT, Finance, and business stakeholders to ensure seamless, compliant, and timely delivery of payroll and HRIS outcomes.

HRIS Management:

• Lead the design, implementation, optimization, and administration of HRIS and payroll systems for the region.
• Act as the primary interface for HR, IT, and system vendors to enable robust HRIS operations and continuous improvements.
• Drive system testing, upgrades, integrations, and enhancements across modules including payroll, time & attendance, leave, and benefits.
• Ensure data accuracy through regular audits, issue resolution, and governance of HRIS data integrity.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and analytical reports to support HR and business decision-making.
• Conduct end-user training and manage system access, security protocols, and compliance.

Payroll Operations & Compliance:

• Ensure accurate and timely collation, validation, and approval of all payroll-related inputs including but not limited to master data updates, transfers, new joiners, exits, salary revisions, and statutory elements—while ensuring compliance with minimum wage norms and CTC structuring requirements across sites, prior to final payroll processing.
• Ensure adherence to statutory requirements, including minimum wages, PF, ESIC, PT, LWF, and other payroll-related regulations.
• Manage all payroll inputs such as new hires, exits, wage revisions, F&F settlements, overtime, and benefits.
• Partner with Finance for reconciliations, audits, statutory filings, and year-end processes.
• Serve as the regional SPOC for payroll-related queries, escalations, and audits.

Leadership & Stakeholder Management:

• Lead, mentor, and develop the HRIS and payroll team to ensure operational excellence.
• Build strong cross-functional partnerships with HR, Business Units, Finance, IT, and external vendors to drive process efficiency and compliance.
• Contribute to transformation initiatives, system standardization, and continuous improvement projects across SBS.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Information Systems, or related field.
• 10–12+ years of progressive experience in HRIS, payroll operations, and statutory compliance—preferably within the services sector.
• Proven experience managing large, diverse headcounts including blue-collar workforce.
• Hands-on expertise with HRIS platforms and payroll systems.
• Certifications in Payroll, Labour Laws, Compensation, or HRIS are an added advantage.

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong analytical and data-driven approach with expertise in reporting and advanced Excel.
• Deep understanding of payroll operations, statutory compliance, minimum wage structures, and CTC frameworks.
• Effective leadership, team management, and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
• High proficiency in HRIS and payroll technologies; strong process orientation.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and customer service mindset.
• Ability to operate with high accuracy, confidentiality, and integrity while managing multiple priorities.
