Role & responsibilities

Core Responsibilities

  • Warehouse Operations Analysis and Process Alignment

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of warehouse workflows to interpret business requirements.

  • Design and implement SAP WM solutions that align with industry standards and regulatory expectations.

  • System Configuration and Modular Integration

  • Execute complete configuration of SAP WM elements including storage type definitions, put away and picking strategies, handling units, and transfer orders.

  • Facilitate integration with interdependent modules such as MM, SD, PP, QM, and EWM for cohesive enterprise functionality.

  • Project Delivery and Lifecycle Management

  • Lead key phases of SAP initiatives including implementation, migration, upgrade, and post-production support.

  • Resolve functional issues collaboratively with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure operational continuity.

  • Documentation and Stakeholder Enablement

  • Produce and maintain functional specifications, configuration records, process documentation, and end-user training content.

  • Oversee and coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT), integration testing, and knowledge transfer sessions.

  • Stakeholder Engagement and Communication

  • Act as a strategic interface between business process owners and SAP technical teams.
  • Represent functional expertise in requirement-gathering workshops, governance meetings, and change management activities.

Preferred candidate profile

Educational Qualifications

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, or a closely related field.
  • Professional certification in SAP WM (ECC or S/4HANA) is strongly preferred.

Professional Experience

  • Minimum of 6 years of dedicated experience in the SAP WM module, including configuration, implementation, and support within enterprise environments.
  • Demonstrated success in executing end-to-end project lifecycles—from requirement gathering and blueprinting to realization and production support.
  • Proven competence in RF technology integration, Handling Unit Management (HUM), and interfacing with adjacent modules (e.g., MM, SD, PP, EWM).
