  • Staff Management:

  • Manage schedules, conduct performance reviews, and motivate staff to achieve sales goals.
  • Provide training on product knowledge, customer service, and brand standards.
  • Sales and Operations:
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed store targets.
  • Oversee the visual merchandising of the store to meet brand standards and drive sales.
  • Handle administrative and financial tasks, including managing the store budget and reporting on key financial metrics.
  • Conduct daily operational tasks like opening and closing procedures.
  • Customer Service:
  • Ensure a positive and welcoming shopping experience for all customers.
  • Handle customer complaints, returns, and other issues professionally.
  • Train staff to provide exceptional customer service and product knowledge.
  • Inventory and Merchandising:
  • Manage inventory levels, including ordering new stock and conducting regular counts.
  • Implement new product launches, promotions, and window displays.
  • Ensure the store is clean, well-stocked, and presentable at all times.
  • Compliance and Security:
  • Enforce company policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize shrinkage.

Qualifications and skills

  • Previous retail management or supervisory experience is often required.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in sales techniques and customer service best practices.
  • Ability to analyze sales data and financial reports.
  • A flair for fashion and an understanding of current clothing trends.
