This role will require a tester completing delegated tasks assigned by a supervisor in the Engineering job family and will work on building test cases and automation scripts for Salesforce components in a secure Salesforce Sales Cloud application. They are expected to work closely with Subject Matter Experts, developers, and business stakeholders to ensure that application solutions meet business/customer requirements.ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and execute functional and automated test cases for Salesforce software applicationsDevelop reusable software test scripts using test automation tools like ProvarWork closely with software engineers, technical product owners, and business partners to understand requirements and translate them into test plansReview user stories and requirements to ensure testability and completenessPerform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing on Salesforce componentsValidate Salesforce configurations, customizations (Apex classes, triggers, Visualforce, Lightning components), and integrationsParticipate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectivesEnsure test environments are properly set up and maintainedImplement and follow QA best practices and standardsIdentify areas for test process improvement and implement solutionsConsults with teammates and business partners in resolving questions during the testing processExercises considerable creativity, foresight, and judgment in conceiving, planning, and delivering testingRecognized internally as a subject matter expert on quality assuranceParticipate in root cause analysis and provide recommendations to prevent recurrence of issuesQualificationsRequired Skills:Proficiency in QA methodologies, tools, and processesFamiliarity with Salesforce development and customization components (e.g., Apex, Lightning, Flows)Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly report issues and collaborate with team membersExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong desire to learnPreferred Skills:Conga Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) testing experience a big plusFamiliarity with API testing using Postman or similar toolsQA or test automation certifications (e.g., ISTQB, Provar, Certified Selenium Professional) are desirableSalesforce certifications such as Salesforce Administrator is a plusRequired Experience & Education: 5+ years of software QA experience, with at least 2 years focused on Salesforce testing1+ years software test automation experience4 year University degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical disciplineExperience with test automation tools such as Provar or similarThese two sections will be "standardized" in the JD template and made not editable.Location & Hours of Work< >Full-time position, working 40 hours per week.
