The organization is dedicated to providing relief and education to improve the lives of vulnerable children.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Tamil Nadu, India. The Superintendent for the children's home at Tiruvannamalai will oversee the daily operations of the home, ensure the safety and well-being of the children, and coordinate with various staff members to provide a nurturing environment. Responsibilities include maintaining records, planning and implementing programs for the children's development, liaising with government and non-governmental agencies, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

Qualifications

  • Experience in child welfare, child protection, and rehabilitative services
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage staff and coordinate with various stakeholders
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards related to child welfare
  • Ability to work independently and handle sensitive situations with care and professionalism
  • Degree in Social Work, Child Development, Psychology, or related field is preferred
  • Experience working in an on-site role in a similar setting is a plus
