Job Overview: Our company seeks a proactive and detail-oriented Contracts Manager with specialized skills in Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDA), teaming agreements (TA), and a comprehensive range of legal documents. This role is pivotal in safeguarding our company's interests throughout the contract lifecycle, with a particular focus on meticulous redlining to identify and mitigate risks. A cornerstone of this position is effective and transparent communication with the Business Development (BD) team, ensuring all potential contractual risks are clearly understood and managed. While familiarity with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) is advantageous, the ability to prioritize the company's interests and maintain robust communication channels with internal teams is paramount.

Responsibilities:

  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, ensuring they align with company goals while protecting our interests and complying with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Perform thorough redlining of agreements to identify potential risks, negotiating terms that favor the company's position.
  • Act as a liaison between the legal department and the Business Development team, providing clear, timely, and effective communication on contractual risks and negotiation statuses.
  • Develop and implement strategies for contract risk management, advising senior management on risk mitigation tactics.
  • Ensure comprehensive compliance with internal policies and external regulations, with a willingness to delve into FAR and other regulatory resources as needed.
  • Maintain a dynamic contract management system for effective tracking and management of all contractual documents.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement in contract management processes, staying abreast of legal, regulatory, and industry changes.
  • Provide training and mentorship to team members on contract negotiation, risk assessment, and best practices in communication and compliance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, or a related field, with a Juris Doctor (JD) or contract management certification (e.g., CFCM) highly regarded.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in contract management, with proven expertise in handling NDAs, teaming agreements, and conducting risk assessments.
  • Exceptional negotiation skills and the ability to conduct detailed contract analysis to protect the company's interests.
  • Strong proficiency in verbal and written communication, with the ability to articulate contract risks and strategies effectively to the Business Development team and senior management.
  • Experience with FAR and government contract regulations preferred, along with the capability to research and apply these regulations as necessary.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite and contract management software, with a commitment to leveraging technology for efficient contract administration.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹600, ₹800,000.00 per year
