About the Role :

The Frontend Developer ) will design and build dynamic, responsive web applications using and modern front-end technologies. The role involves creating reusable components, integrating APIs, and optimizing performance. Strong skills in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML, CSS, Tailwind and UI/UX best practices are essential.

Role & responsibilities :

  • Actively contribute across the full software development lifecycle — planning, coding, debugging, testing, and deployment.
  • Support the translation of system architectures and UI/UX designs into functional, efficient, and scalable web applications.
  • Develop robust, reusable, and maintainable frontend components using (or ) and modern JavaScript practices.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code that aligns with best practices and coding standards.
  • Integrate RESTful APIs and ensure efficient data exchange between frontend and backend systems.
  • Contribute to planning, debugging, and deployment phases, ensuring timely delivery and performance optimization.
  • Participate in code reviews and uphold high standards for quality, performance, and security.

  • Collaborate closely with backend developers, designers, and QA engineers to deliver seamless product experiences.

  • Ensure responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and mobile-first development principles are applied across projects.

  • Assist in R&D initiatives, staying updated with emerging technologies and contributing to innovation discussions.

  • Provide on-call support during marquee events and critical system deployments.

  • Represent Sportz Interactive in technical discussions, client meetings, and project reviews as needed.

Background and Experience

  • 4–6 years of hands-on experience in developing and maintaining complex web applications using JavaScript, (or ), and jQuery.

  • Exposure to and is highly desirable.

  • Solid understanding of application scalability, performance tuning, and maintainability.

  • Experience working with cloud technologies (preferably AWS), Redis Cache and CI/CD pipelines.

  • Familiarity with Agile methodology and project management tools like JIRA.

  • Strong understanding of responsive web design, cross-browser compatibility, and UI/UX best practices.

  • Experience integrating social media APIs (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram) and working with XML/JSON data structures.

  • Knowledge of mobile optimization and frameworks like jQuery Mobile is an added advantage.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
