We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Continental Chef to join our team at The Fern Residency. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in the culinary industry, with a strong background in cooking and excellent presentation skills.

Roles and Responsibility

• Prepare and cook high-quality continental dishes, including appetizers, entrees, and desserts.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
• Collaborate with other chefs to develop new recipes and menus.
• Ensure all food is prepared and presented on time, meeting customer expectations.
• Manage inventory of ingredients and supplies, minimizing waste and optimizing costs.
• Develop and implement effective food safety protocols to prevent cross-contamination.

Job Requirements

• Proven experience as a chef or cook in a professional kitchen setting.
• Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, ingredients, and menu planning.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.
