Senior SAP Basis Consultant

Job Summary :

-We are seeking an experienced SAP Basis Consultant responsible for the administration, support, and security of our SAP landscape.

-The ideal candidate will manage system performance, upgrades, and patching, while ensuring robust user access control, compliance, and audit readiness.

Key Responsibilities :

SAP Basis Administration :

• Strong understanding of SAP system architecture with hands-on expertise in system installations, upgrades, migrations, and patching activities.

• Experienced in system copies, client administration, transport management, and performance tuning across SAP landscapes.

• Capable of independently monitoring and optimizing system performance, conducting capacity planning, managing resources, ensuring security and compliance, and executing effective backup and recovery strategies.

• Proficient in managing transport requests and overseeing change management processes across development, quality, and production environments.

• Conducts system health monitoring, oversees job scheduling, and performs root cause analysis to address and resolve issues.

• Coordinates with vendors for product deployment and troubleshooting with minimal supervision.

• Provides operational support for SAP HANA DB, S/4HANA, and Fiori landscapes.

• Provides operational support for SAP HANA DB, S/4HANA, and Fiori landscapes.

• Designs and maintains user roles and authorizations within SAP systems, including S/4HANA and SAP Payroll environments.

• Manages user provisioning, de-provisioning, and role adjustments as per business requirements.

• Collaborates with internal audit and compliance teams to ensure alignment with system security standards and policies.

Requirements :

Technical Skills :

• Strong hands-on experience in SAP Basis administration, including HANA DB, S/4HANA, and SAP Fiori.

• Proficient in system refreshes, client copies, and environment management.

• Familiar with transport management, job scheduling, and system performance tuning.

• Good working knowledge of SAP CPI and integration options.

• Experienced in SSL certificate management within SAP systems.

• Skilled in SAP Security concepts: role design, user administration, and authorization management.

• Effective in cross-functional collaboration and supporting project lifecycles.

Qualifications :

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

• SAP certification in Basis (preferred).
