A Receptionist is responsible for managing the front desk, greeting visitors, handling phone calls, and providing administrative support to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. The role requires excellent communication, professionalism, and customer-service skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet visitors and clients in a friendly and professional manner.
- Answer and route incoming phone calls to the appropriate departments.
- Maintain the reception area and keep it clean and presentable.
- Handle visitor registration, ID checking, and appointment scheduling.
- Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence (emails, courier, letters).
- Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and record-keeping.
- Maintain staff and visitor attendance logs.
- Provide information about the company to visitors and callers.
- Handle inquiries and resolve basic customer issues.
- Coordinate with office staff for day-to-day operations.
Required Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Good interpersonal and customer-service skills.
- Basic computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Email).
- Professional appearance and attitude.
- Multitasking and time-management abilities.
- Calm and polite behavior under pressure.
Qualifications
- Minimum: 12th Pass or Graduate in any discipline.
- Experience as a receptionist, front desk officer, or customer support executive is an advantage
