Job Description: Nutanix L3 Administrator/Citrix admin

Role Overview: The Nutanix L3 Administrator is responsible for providing advanced technical support, managing complex issues, and ensuring the smooth operation of Nutanix infrastructure. This role involves troubleshooting, optimizing, and maintaining Nutanix environments, as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advanced Troubleshooting: Handle escalated issues from L1 and L2 teams, providing in-depth analysis and resolution for critical technical problems.
  • Infrastructure Management: Administer and maintain Nutanix environments, including Prism, AHV, Nutanix Storage, and Nutanix Cloud Platform.
  • Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize system performance, ensuring high availability and reliability of Nutanix infrastructure.
  • Virtualization Expertise: Manage and support virtualization platforms such as VMware, AHV, and Hyper-V integrated with Nutanix solutions.
  • Cloud Integration: Work on hybrid cloud setups, integrating Nutanix with public cloud platforms and ensuring seamless operations.
  • Automation & Scripting: Develop scripts and automation tools to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation for configurations, processes, and troubleshooting guides.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other IT teams, vendors, and stakeholders to implement and support Nutanix solutions.
  • Security Compliance: Ensure the Nutanix environment adheres to organizational security policies and compliance standards.
  • Training & Mentorship: Provide guidance and training to L1 and L2 teams to enhance their technical capabilities.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of Nutanix products (Prism, AHV, Nutanix Storage, Nutanix Cloud Platform).
  • Virtualization Proficiency: Strong experience with VMware, AHV, and Hyper-V.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues efficiently.
  • Scripting Knowledge: Proficiency in scripting languages like PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
  • Cloud Knowledge: Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid cloud environments.
  • Experience: 6+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, with at least 3 years in Nutanix administration.
  • Certifications (Preferred): Nutanix Certified Professional (NCP), VMware Certified Professional (VCP), or equivalent certifications.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Team player with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
