Position Overview:

We are on the lookout for a talented Backend Developer to join our innovative engineering team, focused on building scalable, efficient backend systems in a high-energy, AI-driven environment. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience working with technologies like , Express, MongoDB, SQL, and Redis, and will thrive using Cursor and Claude Code to accelerate development workflows. This role requires someone who embraces modern AI-powered tools to streamline processes, from design to deployment, and who works well in a fast-paced culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain backend services using and Express for efficient API development.
  • Leverage AI-driven development tools like Cursor and Claude Code to enhance code quality, optimize performance, and accelerate the development cycle.
  • Design and implement robust, scalable RESTful APIs that integrate seamlessly with frontend applications built in React and
  • Architect and maintain databases using MySQL and MongoDB, focusing on scalability and performance optimization.
  • Use Redis for caching and improving backend response times, especially in high-traffic systems.
  • Collaborate with DevOps teams to maintain CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and cloud deployments on Azure.
  • Ensure backend systems are secure, highly available, and capable of handling high volumes of traffic with minimal latency.
  • Conduct code reviews and optimize backend services for performance and maintainability.
  • Stay on top of industry trends in AI-assisted development and backend technology.

Required Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years of professional experience in backend development, especially with , Express, and MongoDB.
  • Hands-on experience using AI-powered development tools like Cursor and Claude Code to boost productivity and streamline development processes.
  • Strong understanding of system design, scalable software architectures, and building high-performance backend services.
  • Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, including schema design, query optimization, and data modeling.
  • Proficiency in Redis for caching and performance optimization.
  • Familiarity with API authentication standards like JWT and OAuth.
  • Experience working with Git in a collaborative, agile development environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure for hosting and deploying backend services.
  • Exposure to microservices-based architecture and event-driven systems.
  • Experience with GraphQL or WebSockets for real-time data handling.
  • Experience with AI/LLM-based applications or technologies that integrate AI into backend systems.
