  • Analyze system performance metrics and identify bottlenecks.
  • Collaborate with development teams to optimize code and application architecture.
  • Implement automation tools for testing processes.
  • Perform capacity planning and resource allocation.
  • Monitor application performance in production environments.
  • Recommend improvements based on performance analysis.
  • Document test plans, scenarios, and results to share insights.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to integrate performance engineering practices.
  • Conduct system profiling and root cause analysis of performance issues.
  • Maintain performance testing tools and frameworks.
  • Participate in regular code reviews and architectural discussions.
  • Provide guidance and training to junior team members.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends in performance engineering.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in performance engineering or performance testing.
  • Strong knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
  • Experience with scripting languages like Python or Shell.
  • Familiarity with cloud services and infrastructures (AWS, Azure).
  • Proficient in database optimization and tuning.
  • Understanding of web application architecture.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret performance data.
  • Prior experience in automation of performance testing processes.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Certification in performance testing or engineering is a plus.
  • Experience in Agile methodologies.
  • Proven track record of successful performance engineering projects.
