We are seeking a new Finance Executive to join our team in Mumbai. In this role you will be supporting the finance team in the UK, as well as our Shared Services team in India. You will be responsible for managing and processing accounts payable transactions, ensuring accurate and timely payments to vendors and suppliers, and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.  

Key responsibilities:  

• Assist in month-end closing activities, including preparation of accounts payable reports and reconciliations 
• Process vendor invoices and ensure timely, accurate entry into the accounting system 
• Verify and reconcile invoice details with purchase orders and delivery notes 
• Prepare and schedule late payment runs  
• Perform daily bank posting and bank reconciliation 

Your Competencies:  

• 2+ years of experience in accounts payable or a general accounting role 
• Solid knowledge of Microsoft Excel 
• In-depth knowledge of accounting principles 
• Background in IT Sector in multinational environments is an advantage
